HOW TO VOTE

Secret Harbour by-election — polling places open 8am to 6pm.

    Go to your local polling place on Saturday 29 August 2026. Polling places open at 8am and close at 6pm. You can also vote early from Monday 17 August.

    You will receive one ballot paper for the Legislative Assembly, with 16 candidates on it. You must number every box, 1 to 16, for your vote to count.

  3. 3

    Write 1 next to MURRELL, Brett — last on the paper, with no party name beside it. Look for the last name on the list.

  4. 4

    Number the remaining candidates 2 to 16, in any order you choose. Every box must carry a number.

  5. 5

    Fold your ballot paper and place it in the ballot box. That's it. You've done something that matters.

VOTE FROM 17 AUGUST

Early voting opens Monday 17 August and runs to the Friday before polling day. Centres are open during business hours across the electorate, and no reason is required.

Apply for a postal vote if you cannot attend in person. Applications must be received before the close of rolls. Return ballot by the deadline.
