A PLAN FOR EVERY AUSTRALIAN

OUR MISSION

Build a sovereign, self-sustaining, high-technology, farming and industrial export nation of united families. Australia controls its own resources, energy, food, water, and defence. Advanced manufacturing built from within. AI, space, and data industries made in Australia. All faiths, all backgrounds, one nation moving forward together.

CORE VALUES

Ten values. One test: does this make Australia better for the people who live in it? Sovereignty — Australia first, no foreign direction. Truth — name it, fix it. Family — the foundation of society, every policy tested against it. Courage — say it, do it. Community — the person on JobSeeker is not lazy, the NDIS participant is not a burden. Healing — systems that build wellbeing, not manage breakdown. Dignity — every Australian deserves a fair go. Fairness — same rules, same rate, no carve-outs. The Land — we are custodians, not consumers. Accountability — every commitment tracked, published, and measured in real time on the People's Portal.

GOVERNING PHILOSOPHY

Sovereign Australia takes no donations from corporations, unions, or industry bodies. No party whips — every Sovereign Australia MP votes their conscience, their constituents' wishes, and their own values — in that order. No deals behind closed doors. No spin. No secrets. When you vote for a Labor or Liberal MP, you are not voting for a person — you are voting for a machine. Their vote is decided before they walk into the chamber, by factions, donors, and party secretaries you never elected. Sovereign Australia is different by design. A government that belongs to the people it serves.

FIRST TERM COMMITMENTS

Every commitment measurable. Every KPI tracked live on the People's Portal and published against actuals in real time. Year 1: $50K tax-free threshold legislated. REL operational. Fuel emergency declared, 90-day reserve audit within 30 days. Water buybacks moratorium. 8 Royal Commissions commissioned within 90 days. Federal budget deficit reduced to ~$8B. Year 2: First budget surplus. REL revenue compounding. SBC Phase 0 construction underway. Bulk billing restored nationally. Year 3: Surplus locked. Income tax on legislated path to 20%. 200 new corridor towns in planning. Debt falling for the first time in a decade. Not a promise. A mechanism. When the money comes in, the commitments are met.

Australia is one of the wealthiest nations on earth by any measure of natural endowment. We have the minerals, the land, the sun, the gas, and the people. What we have lacked is a plan that puts those resources to work for ordinary Australians — not just for shareholders and foreign markets. That is what Sovereign Australia offers. Not a list of promises. A direction. A destination.

ECONOMY — Treasury & Finance

COST OF LIVING

Sydney's median house price is $1.4 million. Rents have risen 40% in three years — 38 consecutive months of increases. Power bills are among the highest in the developed world. Real wages have fallen three consecutive years. Sovereign Australia's answer: $50,000 tax-free threshold from Day 1. Income tax falling from 30% to 20% over ten years on legislated triggers. Power legislated under 10c/kWh by end of first term. Wholesale gas under $10/GJ nationally via domestic reservation. Childcare capped at $10/hr — universal, no means test. Supermarket duopoly broken with real ACCC divestiture powers. Corridor towns with homes at $150/week rent-to-buy. A Citizen Dividend from Year 5 as corridor revenue grows.

TAX REFORM

The tax-free threshold has been frozen at $18,200 since 2012. Bracket creep taxes workers harder every year without a vote. A third of large corporates paid zero tax in 2022–23. The big four banks extracted $32 billion in profits last year. Sovereign Australia raises the tax-free threshold to $50,000 on Day 1. A flat 30% above that, falling to 20% over ten years. Corporate tax at 25%. A 50% bank profit levy. BAS abolished for small business. CGT overhauled — 30% on property speculation, 25% on productive business and shares. Super contributions deferred to Year 7 as income tax falls. A tax system that fits in ten pages.

SMALL BUSINESS & BANKING

No new major banking licence has been issued in 30 years. Four banks control 80% of home lending and 93% of rural lending. Farm debt has risen from $100 billion to $140 billion in four years. Credit cards charge 22% while the cash rate sits at 4%. Over 1,700 bank branches have closed in a decade — regional towns abandoned. Sovereign Australia breaks the oligopoly, caps credit card rates at 14.35%, slashes tap-and-go fees, and guarantees 80% of SME loans under $500K with no personal guarantee required. New businesses pay zero income tax for three years. BAS abolished. Empty commercial buildings taxed at 2% annually to reopen main streets.

STATE FUNDING

Western Australia sold $220 billion of minerals and petroleum in 2024–25 and collected $10.6 billion for it. The Resource Extraction Levy changes what the country gets for its own ore, and the balancing arrangements between the Commonwealth and the states are rewritten with it — so the state where the resource is dug is not left arguing for scraps of its own revenue.

SECURITY — Defence & Sovereignty

DEFENCE

AUKUS as currently structured commits Australia to between $268 and $368 billion over 30 years for three to five nuclear-propelled submarines, with the first not deliverable for 15–20 years — the wrong tool for a continental nation defending 35,000 km of coastline. Sovereign Australia repositions AUKUS — and proposes AUASIA in its place: the same partnerships widened into the region rather than narrowed against it. The workforce, the funding, the shipyards, the security partnerships with the United States and the United Kingdom are all preserved. The output is redirected: hundreds of mass-produced unmanned coastal-defence platforms (the Ghost Shark class, scaled up), a fleet of dual-use cable-laying and pipeline vessels, and a Sovereign Defence Manufacturing base under the SBC umbrella. Defence spending stays at 3% of GDP. The ADF is restructured into five forces under a fourteen-member National Security Council that includes state and territory security professionals on fixed terms, with ASIO, ASIS, ASD and ONI unified under a single Director of National Intelligence: an Engineer Corps grown from 3,000 to 20,000 with 72-hour disaster deployment, a Border Patrol military division, Drone Forces across the three spheres, the SAS on a sovereign mission, and an Air Force pre-positioned in every state. National service gives every young Australian two years of paid, skilled training across six tracks — Engineer Corps, Health and Care, Green Corps, Teaching and Education, Construction and Trades, and Civil Defence — with a conscientious-objector pathway preserved. The youth unemployment problem and the infrastructure workforce shortage are the same problem. National service solves both.

FUEL SECURITY

Australia holds 23 days of diesel. The IEA minimum is 90 days. We are the only IEA member not meeting this obligation — and we have not met it since 2012. Seven refineries in 2003. Two left today. We export 94% of our crude and import it back as refined product at a margin. The supply chain runs through the Strait of Hormuz — one conflict away from closure. Sovereign Australia builds a 90-day national reserve on Australian soil, funds 200 micro-biodiesel plants across regional Australia, fast-tracks domestic gas and tight oil approvals in Beetaloo, Cooper, Canning, and Browse, enforces the Liquid Fuel Emergency Act 1984 — ignored for 40 years — and mandates a biofuels blend. Secret Harbour and the Western Australia run on diesel — so does every tradie, farmer, and emergency service in regional NSW. Fuel sovereignty is not optional.

IMMIGRATION

Migration has run ahead of the housing, health and infrastructure needed to absorb it, and both major parties have used the intake as an economic lever while refusing to say so. Sovereign Australia sets a controlled program at a stated number, published and reviewed against the actual capacity of housing and services rather than against a Treasury forecast. Borders enforced, the humanitarian intake honoured, and the numbers published monthly on the Portal so the argument is about evidence rather than assertion.

ELECTORAL REFORM

Every donation made through a verified People's Portal — published in real time, foreign donations structurally impossible via MyGovID. A 5-year retrospective declaration — all parties, unions, and industry bodies declare every donation and ad spend from the past 5 years within 90 days. After the window: no amnesty, no statute of limitations, prosecutions forever. Truth in political advertising — same standard as commercial law, AEC rules within 48 hours. A permanent federal ICAC with genuine investigative powers. Mandatory lobbying register. Ballot counting integrity: security paper, optical scanner at every booth before the ballot box, AI second count — any divergence triggers immediate investigation, all ballot images published as open data. Fixed 4-year terms.

BUILD — Industry & Infrastructure

FARMERS & WATER

Water buybacks stop on Day 1. An independent review of every buyback since 1997 begins immediately. The Murray-Darling is restored — not by rationing existing farmers but by delivering new water from the north. The Alice Hub delivers 30,000 gigalitres per year from the monsoon north via gravity-fed SBC corridors — expanding the Murray-Darling Basin, creating 6.7 million new hectares of productive farmland. Freight rail at 3–5c/tonne/km replaces diesel road at 12–15c. Six abattoir closures reversed. Canola and grain processed in Australia, not exported raw. Strategic neutrality ends the trade weaponisation that has cost farmers billions in lost Chinese markets. A Farmers First Act legislated in the first 100 days.

ENERGY & POWER PRICES

Australia has the best renewable resources on earth, vast coal and gas reserves, and among the highest power bills in the developed world. That is a policy failure, not a resource problem. Sovereign Australia legislates a household price of 10 cents per kilowatt-hour and holds every energy decision to one test before any other: does it lower the price? Wholesale gas under $10 a gigajoule nationally through domestic reservation. Generation decided on economics and reliability rather than on ideology in either direction.

Net zero is treated as an engineering and cost question rather than a moral one. Where a measure lowers emissions and the price together it proceeds; where it raises the price without lowering emissions it does not. The carbon schemes are published in full on the Portal, so Australians can see where the money actually goes.

HOUSING

The median Sydney house is $1.4 million and rents have risen for thirty-eight consecutive months. Building the same suburbs further out has not worked and will not. Sovereign Australia opens two new options beside the existing market. Community Towns — the rural option: new towns on the corridor with homes at $150 a week rent-to-buy, built around work, land and community rather than commuting. City Communities — the city option: fixed-term conversion of empty commercial buildings into homes, reopening dead CBD floors instead of arguing about greenfield land.

Both add supply without waiting for the market to discover a conscience, and both are tracked publicly against delivery on the Portal.

FUTURE — Science, AI & Space

THE SPACEPORT & SOVEREIGN INDUSTRY

Australia sits at one of the best launch latitudes on earth, with clear range east and a stable continent underneath. A sovereign spaceport anchors a national launch, satellite and space-services industry — earth observation for farming, fire and water, communications for the regions, and the capability to put our own assets in orbit rather than renting someone else’s. It sits with the AI programme in the Future department: industry built here rather than bought in.

LEARN — Education & Knowledge

EDUCATION

The current system was designed for the industrial age. Compliance from age 5. Arts and music cut. Teachers buried in admin. Trades treated as a fallback, not a foundation. Sovereign Australia puts an AI tutor in every student's hands — personalised, 24/7, free. Music, dance, and arts as core curriculum from Foundation to Year 10. Trades first class — HECS abolished for vocational training, free TAFE, trades-qualified instructors paid at professional rates. Teacher admin cut by 50% so teachers can teach. School funding tied to outcomes, not enrolment. University research redirected to sovereign priorities. The goal — legislated — is free education for every Australian, funded as REL revenue grows.

THE MEDIA

Two companies own most of what Australians read. Ownership and ultimate beneficial owners are published on the Portal, as is every dollar of government advertising by outlet and department. Public broadcasting is defended rather than defunded, and the argument about moderation and comment is had in the open with the rules published.

CARE — Health & Wellbeing

HEALTHCARE

Bulk billing has collapsed. In regional Australia, families pay over $80 in gap fees just to see a GP — more than $1,000 a year. Sovereign Australia restores the $0 GP visit with a 95% Medicare rebate and no gap fee. Ten Green Zone community health pilots — one per state and territory — in the first term, then rolled out nationally. Healing Centres built into every new corridor town. Aged care woven into communities, not warehoused at distance.

Obesity is the number one preventable burden on the health system. Sovereign Australia funds the education and food transparency programs that address it at the source. The PBS is preserved and extended. Dental care brought into Medicare. The health system rebuilt around prevention, not just treatment.

MENTAL HEALTH

Suicide is the leading cause of death for Australians under 45 — three times the female rate for men. More Australians die by suicide than in road accidents. 1 in 5 Australians experience mental illness every year. The current system treats breakdown — it does not build wellbeing. Sovereign Australia funds 200 new public psychiatry positions, peer support programs, free psychology (10 sessions, zero gap), drug substitution programs, and Healing Centres in every corridor town. Community is the medicine. The Green Zone model — nature, movement, connection, purpose — is the foundation.

HEALTH BEYOND THE HOSPITAL

Two things drive the health budget more than any others, and neither is treated seriously: what is in the food, and what is legal to sell. Know What’s In It requires every chemical and additive in the food supply to be recorded, published and searchable. Tobacco and vapes are handled as the enforcement and excise failure they have become rather than as a moral argument. Cannabis and hemp are regulated honestly — medical access that works, industrial hemp as a crop and a building material.

PEOPLE — Community, Family & Country

FAMILY LAW

A Family Violence Restraining Order can be granted without the other party present or heard — ex parte. Sovereign Australia limits ex parte orders to 21 days maximum, with both parties heard before any extension. Shared parenting is the default — the research on outcomes for children is unambiguous. Child support reassessed within 30 days of a proven income drop. Childcare at $10/hr, universal, no means test. 26 weeks parental leave — 8 weeks reserved for each parent. A right to disconnect from work. Granny flat construction as of right on any residential lot. Free relationship counselling before adversarial proceedings begin. A Ministry for Families with cabinet representation.

GOVERNMENT ITSELF — SEVEN DEPARTMENTS AND THE DAA

Australia currently has a Prime Minister, a Deputy, twenty-two cabinet ministers, twelve outer ministry ministers and sixteen assistant ministers. Every successful large organisation on earth runs on a simpler structure: one accountable leader, a board of independent advisors, a small executive team, and division heads who run the operations. Sovereign Australia consolidates twenty-two departments into seven — Economy, Security, Build, Future, Learn, Care and People — with eight ministers instead of sixty, and a National Advisory Council of twelve independent experts whose advice is published in full.

Across all seven sits the Digital Australia Authority. Not an eighth department — the digital layer that runs across every one of them, because every department has a digital dimension and no single one can own it. The DAA builds one thing: the People’s Portal. One site, one login, covering local, state and federal government with the records linked. Six doors: Data & Metrics — prices tracked daily, the state of the country, the budget live, and every department’s own KPIs with the target beside the actual result. Documents & Registers — the national repository: every contract at every value in full, every register, every review and consultant report, and the decision records behind them. Law & Treaties — every act in plain language with its sunset date, every bill before the vote, every treaty published in full. Government — the three branches through one door: Parliament, the Executive and the Courts, with every judgment free to read. AusLLM — the national AI, government owned and free to every Australian, answering from the public record with sources cited. My Services — one login, tell us once, your business, your records visible and correctable, and the channels that carry weight: problems with case numbers, suggestions with thresholds that bind, petitions that force a debate, and the citizen vote.

Outside the login sit three standing doors: Disclose, the anonymous whistleblower channel — anonymous means no login; Emergency, the live warning feed; and Open Data, everything machine-readable through one free API. All of it runs on a sovereign Australian cloud owned by the DAA, open source and constitutionally protected from sale.

Publication is the default and secrecy the exception that must justify itself. That is the whole doctrine in one sentence, and the Portal is what makes it real rather than rhetorical.

GAMBLING

In 2024, Australians lost $31.5 billion gambling — more than the combined household spend on electricity and gas. Pokies are not neutral entertainment. They are designed to create addiction. Western Australia never allowed pokies in pubs and clubs and has one-third the gambling harm rate of the rest of Australia. That is the model. Sovereign Australia enacts all 31 recommendations of the Parliamentary Inquiry ignored for three years: pokies out of pubs and clubs, online gambling advertising banned from Day 1, mandatory pre-commitment on all machines, poker machines funded from a levy on casino and online operator profits. Problem gambling treated as a health issue — not a revenue stream.

ENVIRONMENT

2,175 species are listed as threatened — a 54% increase since 2000. Feral cats kill 1.4 billion native animals per year. Sovereign Australia establishes 10 conservation zones in the first term, plants one billion trees (100 million per year), and makes all national parks free for every Australian from Day 1. The SBC viaduct design — elevated 6 metres, wildlife moves freely underneath — is the first infrastructure project in Australian history designed not to fragment habitat.

$30 billion per year is spent on Indigenous programs. Only 4 of 19 Closing the Gap targets are on track. The NIAA is abolished. An independent Indigenous Advisory Council — Parliament-reporting, community-controlled — replaces it. A Traditional Owner Services Fund receives 2% of REL revenue, legislatively guaranteed. SBC corridors connect remote communities to the national grid — power, water, fibre, and economic opportunity. 78% of Aboriginal youth in detention have not yet been convicted. That ends.

FREE SPEECH & DIGITAL RIGHTS

Australia has no constitutional guarantee of free speech. The implied freedom of political communication can be overridden by Parliament. Government misinformation legislation gives bureaucrats the power to define and compel removal of speech. Two companies — News Corp and Nine Entertainment — control the majority of Australian print and broadcast media. Sovereign Australia enacts a Bill of Rights — the rights Australians thought they had, written into law so no government can remove them by decree. Open source algorithms — every platform operating in Australia must publish how content is ranked. Platform monopolies broken. Australians own their data. Age-banded social media. Internet access as essential infrastructure — delivered via SBC sovereign fibre to every corridor town.

DAA — The Digital Layer Across All Seven

GOVERNMENT ITSELF — SEVEN DEPARTMENTS AND THE DAA

ACCOUNTABILITY — Across Every Department

ROYAL COMMISSIONS & ACCOUNTABILITY

Eight Royal Commissions — with coercive powers, no carve-outs, full public reporting, and first commissions within 90 days of government: family law, local government, media concentration, lobbying, COVID (including vaccine decisions and lockdown authorisation), the drug epidemic, asset sales (Commonwealth Bank, Qantas, Telstra, gold), and the RBA. Parliamentary inquiries cannot compel witnesses or documents. Royal Commissions can. The questions Australia has never been allowed to ask get asked. What comes through that process will reshape this country.

ISRAEL & PALESTINE

Sovereign Australia states its position on the record rather than hiding behind form words: the 1967 Green Line as the basis of a two-state settlement, recognition of the findings of the International Court of Justice, opposition to settlement expansion, and an arms and components policy that does not make Australia a supplier to a conflict it says it wants ended.
