A NEW NAME

Happy birthday, Clare.

My sister’s birthday is today. She passed when she was 17 — today she would have been 51 years old.

I changed the party name today to the Sovereign Australia Party.

This is what our coming election and our future is about: Australia’s sovereignty — its independence from the forces, both foreign and internal, that are guiding our nation away from the direction that puts Australians and Australia first.

We can all see it. Maybe we can’t put a finger on what is happening, but we sense something is up. Homelessness, the cost of living, COVID, the decisions being made by our government, the policies, the silence from them — all of it points to something we should all be alarmed at.

And we don’t have true choice at the ballot. Three parties, same rulers, same policies — the illusion of choice is real.

We must seek our sovereignty back. For leaders who are not bought or controlled. The party’s core values — Truth, Integrity and Accountability — everything flows from these three.

We need a plan to get us out of this mess.

We need to make Australians and Australia first again.
